DeltaClick Launches Links Toolbar

DeltaClick, a San Francisco marketing firm, today launches its Marketers Performance Network, a toolbar that serves related links and offers to consumers based on which sites they visit.

"When a user clicks on a given URL, the words 'Found related link' flash just below the URL window," said DeltaClick CEO Greg Stuart. When the user clicks on "Found related link," a pop-up appears listing related sites.

"This could be helpful to someone who is, say, shopping for a car," said Stuart. "When they click on the URL for a site like CarPoint, DeltaClick offers a list of other car-related site such as AutoBytel." AutoBytel is a DeltaClick client. According to Stuart, the company already has a number of advertisers, including Quicken and Barnes & Noble.
