The Rich List

By Laura Rich

Russell Reynolds Associates has landed a pro from outside the field as executive director: Gren Millard, who comes from the Gartner Group. He'll concentrate on technology clients. The recruiting field has been considering more in-the-trenches types for search posts, and why not? The theory is they'll bring good Rolodexes with them. They probably do.

Some purveyors of Silicon Valley spin are getting a new boss: Harry Pforzheimer III is taking the top spot in Edelman Worldwide's Palo Alto office. Pforzheimer recently ramped up The Weber Group's operations in the Valley.

Like many of his colleagues who left Discovery Channel Online for OnHealth, former Discovery publisher Tom Hicks is going into the media health biz. He's moving to Tampa, Fla., to be COO at Accent Health, a crossmedia health information company.

The Internet Advertising Bureau has named an additional nine members to its board, bringing the total to 16. The new members are: David Adams of Winstar Interactive; Susan Bratton of At Home Network; former Starwave exec Rich LeFurgy; DoubleClick's Lee Nadler; Chris Niemeth from New York Times Electronic Media; Debbie Pinkerston from OnSale; Scott Schiller from Buena Vista Internet Group; Greg Stuart of Cars.com; and Kenny Wachtel, who's at Excite.
