IAB Elects Nine New Board Members
Entering its third year as the representative body of publishers
involved in online advertising, the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) has elected
nine new members to its Board of Directors.
The new IAB board members are:
David Adams -- Eastern U.S. Sales Manager, Winstar Interactive
Susan Bratton -- Director, Interactive Advertising Group, @Home
Rich LeFurgy -- President, LeFurgy.com
Lee Nadler -- Director, Global Marketing, DoubleClick
Chris Neimeth -- VP/Director Sales, New York Times Electronic Media
Debbie Pinkston -- VP Advertising Sales, Onsale
Scott Schiller -- VP Advertising/Sponsorship Sales, Buena Vista Internet
Group
Greg Stuart -- VP Marketing & Business Development, Cars.com
Kenny Wachtel -- Senior VP Advertising Sales, Excite Inc.
Each director serves a term of two years. Elections were held at the IAB's annual
membership meeting in New York City on October 28.
Founded in 1996, the IAB is an advertising association with over 300 active members.
Its activities include evaluating and recommending standards and practices, fielding
research to document the effectiveness of the online medium, and educating the advertising
industry about the use of online advertising.
The IAB also has member countries including Canada, France and Germany, and is
currently developing membership countries in Asia and Latin America, as well as other
countries in Europe. |
