NEW YORK
Wunderman Cato Johnson, New York, advanced Joanne Zaiac to executive vice president and
Greg Stuart to senior vice president.
Bates USA, New York, awarded senior vice presidencies to management representatives
Deborah Dick-Rath and Tobi Hochman, associate creative directors Tony Kobylinski and Jim
Ritterhoff and account supervisor Judy Sykes. The agency also promoted six staffers to
vice presidencies: media supervisors Rich Anderson and Randi Honig, account supervisors
Barbara Giuffre and Joan Lemler, portfolio marketing supervisor Lisa Aulebach and office
services manager Debbie Lynch.
Merkley Newman Harty, New York, signed Anthony Brescia as group account director on the
BellSouth business. Brescia joins the agency from BBDO Worldwide, where he had been for 12
years, most recently as executive vice president, senior account director and a member of
the New York board of directors.
Disney Magazine Publishing Group, New York, promoted David Fishman to corporate director
of business development, from director of business development for Discover. Prior to
joining the magazine in 1989, Fishman was vice president and account supervisor at Saatchi
& Saatchi Advertising.
Adler Boschetto Peebles & Partners, New York, promoted Eric Wirth to vice president
and account supervisor. Wirth joined the agency as assistant vice president and account
executive in 1993.
Hearst Corp., New York, elected three new officers in its magazines division: Donna
Kalajian Galotti, publisher of Cosmopolitan, progressed to senior vice president and Larry
Burstein, publisher of Esquire, and Cindy Sperling, publisher of Victoria, assumed vice
presidencies.
Mitch Golden joined Neographic Inc., a New York-based company specializing in Internet and
new media projects, as director of technology.
